View of the Mourne mountains in Co Down. This shot taken over the top of a dry stone field wall, further up in the mountains is the mourne wall which marks out the catchment area for the water authority in N.Ireland.

Good composition idea, Trev. I like the strong horizontal lines here. Also the light and colours are very good, particularly those bits of yellow are great.

On the other hand I'd have prefered some more focus on the wall in the foreground to bring out the texture of the stones.

Still, good shot & thanks for sharing it. The title doesn't happen to be a reference to Echo & the Bunnymen, does it?

A typical Mournes view, with the wall of stones and the mountains in the background. I think I recognize the place where you took this photo from, I've been there one year ago ;)
