A giant 3 meter carved figure stands proudly in front of the sea. The community of saint Anne des Monts is home to many such works of art, carved from drift wood along its shores.

A really nice shot - good detail on the statue in the foreground, and nicely balanced with a great blues in the background. He is indeed quite a pensive statue.

Hello Yves,
This is an eye catching statue, and presented dramatically in your photo. I imagine the edifice has been carve from a tree trunk, perhaps with a chain saw. It stands dramatically agains the blue water.
