A three minute exposure by nearly full moon. The top half for 30 seconds, the bottom half for the full duration..
After exposing the full frame for 30 seconds, I then covered the top half with a dark cloth and moved it gently to create an even transition between the exposures...

Wow this is amazing! where is it? looks like another planet. How did you do a separate exposure for the two parts of the image? photoshop or hiding the lens?

Another "other-worldly" shot Alister. It has the look of a painting with the satin-soft water and hard-edged rocks. The moonlight has lent an attractive silver sheen to the water in the mid-distance. Well managed. Best regards Rosemary

A beautiful, well-crafted shot. A lot of planning and effort went into this and the end result is a great success. For what it's worth, this shot deserves a whole lot more than just six points. TE has gone to the dogs.
