Photographer's Note

The Karakoram Highway runs through the Karakoram mountains and is the main border crossing between China and Pakistan. It is the highest paved international highway in the world, and runs through some absolutely sublime scenery.

Above is a section of the highway on the China side, south of Kashgar on the way to Tashkurgan, which is the last major town before entering Pakistan.

Note: For this repost, I screwed around with a lot of things, but mostly tried to get the color truer.
