we all know the Statue of Liberty in NY designed and made by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi with help of the famous Mr. Gustave Eiffel. presented to the United States, made ​​in France and shipped in parts by the ocean to finally stand proudly on the island of freedom.
not everyone knows that a few years later, a copy of a great lady stod in Paris on artificially build Île des Cygnes (Swan Island). this statue was founded by French people living in America to commemorate the centenary of the French Revolution.
