Photographer's Note
I do not have much to explain about this image, as I have already presented the background in the last photo. This is the second of the three images that I intend to present to you. The ceremony, a nighttime wedding, has just begun. The two miko-sans lead the Gakuninn, the musicians. They are about to stand before the main hall of the shrine. I included a secret TE agent at work. I realize that the inclusion of the photographer is a questionable aspect of this image. I hope that you do not mind him; after all he is also like one of us.

Hello Nobu,
I think the inclusion of the photographer was a good idea. It breaks the solemnity of the ceremony in a delightful way, and although his dress code doesn't fit the environment, his presence fits the composition very well. I just get curious of his identity. Is he really a TE member or just a kindred soul?
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Nobu,
Action on the temple ground...
Nice POV with the people within, the two ladies in the traditional Kimonos seem to take a calm pace towards the shrine, as part of the ceramony.
Lovely,
Ike

Ciao ma cher Nobucccio-san
I'm so glad to get another look at these fascinating miko-sans, aswell the addition of the musicians and the photographer whom we can all empathise with. I guess we in the western world would describe these enigmatic ladies as being seers or having the gift of foresight? The way you have photographed them with their backs turned to the camera this time, add to the enigma and enchantment. Beautiful colours, the red of the miko-sans' dresses contrast so well against the more neutral tones of the pavement and architecture . Excellent work and thank you for sharing with us part of your fascinating culture.
Bonne amities

Hello Nobu,
this is the complementary shot from your previous one, with the same two Miko ladies in uniform to return to the shrine. The cheremony was begun as we can see the musicians to passing by in front of you with the photographer to be prepeared to shot the coming new couple. Excelelnt the light and the colour management as the clarity of the image.

I like the composition very much - as always - and the photographer adds a touch of immediacy and realism to this very formal procession. Thanks for the YouTube - that gives a much better idea of the ceremony not to mention the music which is quite unusual! (and a very different type of headdress for the bride which hides her face much more completely than a veil!)
