A romantic moment, a photo from Tbilisi, East

Photographer's Note

Just back from another journey and ready to upload my first picture.

This is a view towards the old part of Tbilisi, capital of Georgia. Old Tbilisi is magnificently situated between a mountain-range and the Mtkvari river. Several old churches, an ancient fortress and spectacular modern structures line the mountain-sides and make the city very well suited for postcards. Generally I found it more difficult to take the kind of street-shots that I like.

Hi, So you are beack from Giorgia. I am sure you had wonderful holidays. When I see the view of T bilisi, I mute immediately the Polish very old song: If there was a paradise on Earth, it was for sure there, I come back in dreams to Tbilisi.
It fits wonderfully to your photo.

A fine double feature with the historical buildings in the background and the living/loving couple in the foreground. You found a good position get them both at each third of the view, well composed.

I see you are back! This photo does exactly what it says on the tin! Superb compositon with the couple very well placed on the right, lovely flowers (looks like lavender)and a wonderful church building in the backgroud.

Maybe it could have done with a bit more contrast.

Welcome back and what a surprise!
It's a nice capture of an intimate and expressive moment and the peaceful surrounding helps in setting the mood and this leaves the viewers imagination. A very tender, both look totally at ease together and emotive image for all the right reasons but i like the compo and framing with all the emphasis on the hand and body contact. Great mood evoked on this well spotted opportunity. Well done.

I like the clean lines and the characteristic churchs of architecture!A fine point of view and the subject is well framed by the trees, rich colours and fine details!The angle that you have used in this setting is perfect for this photo of the church and its architecture. I like the green frame that you have obtained including the trees and the FG romantic moment and also the good control of the difficult light on BG

I still wait for some captures from your recent stay in İstanbul !
This one from Tbilisi is also great ! This young couple could not have a better and pictoresque background than those beautiful typical Georgian chapels.
It's amazing to see that much sacral buildings together in a relative small area and so close to each other.

welcome back!
This looks like a village of churches. The architecture of the stone buildings and the many bell towers is impressive and interesting and gives us a great idea of how fascinating the old part of the city is. They look somehow dim, though, compared to the vivid colours and intense and tender moment you' ve included on the foreground. The view that could be a postcard is now a lovely scene of daily life which probably has a special personal significance for the couple. A wonderful picture, well done and thank you!

What a you doing peeping at the people having a romantic moment? Kidding! Joke aside, this is a very cute and romantic shot, a Valentine's Day greeting card. Beautiful background wiht all teh wonderful architecture too. The foreground of light green and yellow plants frame the bottom of the image beautifully. A LOVELY shot for sure. indeed, a very romantic scene :) Luckily, also the lighting conditions were in your favour.
by the way, these yellow flowers in the FG enliven the scene pretty nicely as the day seems to be cloudy. Very well framed vertical composition.

In Tbilisi I've also taken a romantic picture of a young couple. But I think it was a forbidden love because while the girl looked very anxious her boyfriend came to me very angry and told me not to photograph them.
A splendid view with the many church towers against the green background.
