Photographer's Note
Shiva is usually worshipped in the abstract form of Shiva linga. In images, he is represented as immersed in deep meditation or dancing the Tandava dance upon Apasmara, the demon of ignorance in his manifestation of Nataraja, the Lord of the dance. He is also the father of the deities Ganesha, Murugan (Kartikeya), and Ayyappan (Dharma Sastha).

Hello Nilotpal,
I like very much the spontaneity and naturalness of this scene, the sense of movement and the recognizable but impersonal environment around the man in the yellow T-shirt. He and his bowed stick and colourful load stand out in an impressively sharp and eye catching way amid the blurry environment. The light, colours and atmosphere of the moody rainy day have been captured superbly and the man captures immediately the attention and the sympathy of the viewer, an individual walking alone in an unfriendly environment. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
Ourania
