Photographer's Note
Walking at the beach of Morro Bay we have seen so many of those lovely birds making those typical bird sounds. Looking for sand dollar shells deep under the sand. Hence the strange curved beek. Sometimes, all you need is a beach, sunshine and queeking sounds of Curlews to make your day just perfect.

Hello,
A very pleasant image to look at. Nice blue color of the water complimented with crisp reflection cut by ripples, I liked it very much.
Also the lifted left leg of the bird (I don't know the name) gives a sense of motion, thereby enhancing the image even higher.
Good image.

Hi Mark
Good definition of the curlew with its reflection in the puddles of the ripples of the sand beach at low tide. What lens was used (not in the information)?
Cheers

Mark, I am very impressed by this sublime photograph. If I were you, I would probably try to set the bird a bit more in the right side. However, I think you chose the right cropping, there is enough space above the bird, which is the main object - not the reflection. Thanks a lot for sharing! Extremely well spotted :)
