Photographer's Note
Ta Prom is a ruined temple not far from Angkor Wat. The temple was built in the late 12th century and then abandoned with the fall of the Khmer empire in the 17th century. This temples shows how most of the extensive Angkor complex appeared before restoration works commenced in the 20th century. Its an eerie and beautiful place. This section of the temple complex appeared in the movie Tomb Raider. In the workshop is a mosaic of six shots showing the giant strangle fig that sits above this mass of roots. Its just a wonderful place to sit and contemplate the engineering and architecture of the temple and the power nature. Go and see it for yourself, you will not regret it.

Hello Chris,
this place looks very appealing and quite scary at the same time. I would love to see the inside and probably I would have a goose bump doing so. The roots of the trees covering the walls give this temple indeed an eerie character. Thanks to very good sharpness one can admire some of the decorative details and one can only imagine how it looked in the past.
Well taken presented.
Thanks for sharing

Bonjour Chris,
Incroyable de voir la forêt prendre possession de ce temple. Quand la nature reprend ses droit. J'aime le cadrage simple mais très efficace et descriptif.
Amicalement

Hello Chris,
Always fascinating to see nature recovering its own and this is clearly the case here. Excellent rendering of the textural detail under a fine ambient light.

Hola Chris
I have been there, like both the road and the temple, so totally invaded by the ficus but still leaving space to admire the sarving on the walls
Good capture concentrating on this fact with the focal point of the dark entrance
Well presented capture of this impressive and unique mix of vegetation and temple or more properly wat
Well seen,tfs
