Photographer's Note

Salisbury Museum is housed in The King's House, where King James I of England was entertained in 1610 and 1613. Set in the surroundings of the Salisbury Cathedral Close, the museum faces the west front of Salisbury Cathedral.

The museum houses a fine collection of local artefacts from prehistory to present time. Highlights include the famous Stonehenge archer and some terrific Turner watercolours.
