Photographer's Note

The interior of the dome covering the atrium is a work of art. I sat in a comfortable chair, ignoring the opportunity to order something to eat, staring upward, trying to decide how best to capture the setting. As most photographers would do, I took a number of shots and decided I like this one best - a fitting prelude to the paintings that waited for me in the galleries.

Through the looking glass, like a kaleidoscope world...you'd expect the shapes and forms to start turning and swirling. Fantastic piece of roof architecture, perfectly captured. Congratulations!
