Photographer's Note
Well, it pays to see something very unique!
I had the opportunity and just in time to join the Salisbury tower tour that would take approximately 2 hours!
This particular section is the interior side of the window frame up on the bell tower
According to the tour guide, in the late 80s and early 90s, there was a huge fund-raising project to have repair work that will conserve Salisbury Cathedral for the future generation.
So a special privilege was given to those who buy a piece of glass, the donator of 5 pounds was allowed to etch something, be it name, sentence word on it.
And there you go, this particular piece of glass was written for their grandchildren
Bravo
Cheers,
Ral
