Sea & Rocky Graphism Contrast Scenery, a photo from Acores, Islands

Photographer's Note

This is a picture of land coastline contrast scenery with the sea at S.Miguel a nice beautiful Portuguese Island situated in a family archipel of nine brothers and sisters, that are live with nature in the vast central North Atlantic Ocean somewhere half a way between Europe and North America.

This one was captured at PONTA do ESCALVADO near a small fishing village called MOSTEIROS in the West part of this Island. This is a very well known place where there are some particular shapped small islanders emerging from the sea in a vertical way that you can see in a previous picture here: Link - And also a nice one particular IMPORTANT detail here: Link

Now in this post I present this picture for YOU see in a daily cycle life between Sea and Coastline, between also Earth and Water Sea element contrast nature.

Here in my post the contrasting boardline coastline and the Blue Atlantic Ocean, half away from Europe and North America.

Thanks to Cristina for posting another from Azores, a very well kwown person here that is known by the nickname SNUGGLEAPHAGUS, that was born and lived here. So, YOU can see her recent work and post here: Link and Thanks also to her LINKS.

IMPORTANT: I post a WS-Workshop where YOU can see in detail a complementary view of this area with the TITLE "Sea Blur Vertigo Approach", that is nice and also could be my principal post. This is my way to post two pictures in one download for additional information at TE members and community.

This is a natural and preserved Island that have many people linked to United States, Canada, North Europe, Brazil and also naturally to Continental Portugal.

UMa linda foto da area dos mosteira. O angulo esta fantastico e as cores maravilhosas o mar dos mosteiros e lindo. Esta fot mostra muito bem a freira ( a formacao de pedra)que caiu a uns anos.
O contraste do azul do mar e branco daespuma com os basalto ficou maravilhos.

(Hoje vou tentar fotografar fogo de artificio)

this is a simple and amazing photograph, i enjoy how you captured the "angry" part of the ocean, like i said in my other critiques, i just loved the color of portugal's oceans. this is out of the critique. but i could imagine a beautiful picture of a sunset from down there with a slow speed, so the ocean looks like silk!

Olá Fernando! Acabei de ler o seu comentário à foto que enviei hoje, por isso percebi-o melhor; de facto o tema é muito semelhante, aliás também o que cada um de nós pretendeu com ambos os trabalhos é muito similar!
Gostei imenso desta foto, porque as cores estão realmente muito boas e contrastantes e o mar está espectacular. Gostei também da quase divisão em duas partes desta foto e para mim este é um trabalho muito forte e bonito!

This a strong "image" from the sea against the rocks; the colors are very realists and the clear view is excellent.
Very nice impact, I can ear the sound from the waves in this situation.

Hi Fernando! A great capture of the angry sea and the contrast between the white foam and the darker rocks. I like also the proportions of the rocky scene you have included, instead of mainly sea. In this respect your shot is superior to many we see that emphasize the sea only. Very effective and well rendered, my friend. Regards.

I love the deep bluish green water crashing into the rocks. The contrast is lovely with the white foam where they meet, very powerful looking scene, well done.

Hi Fernando, A beautiful PoV to the beautiful waves and the coast. I like the over look angle and the diagonal layout. I am amazed to see the blue color water changes color with its different distance to the shoreline. A nice shot.

Olá Fernando. An interesting idea to zoom in on this ensemble of beachside rocks and raging sea water. Nice management of the light, with a godo retention of detail in the stones and beautiful hues of blue and turquoise color found in the water. I like it.

Ouf, j'ai enfin fini de lire ce commentaire très instructif, je peux me consacrer à ta photo.
Il n'est pas aisé de se faire une idée sur la taille des rochers et la hauteur à laquelle la photo a été prise.
Peut-être aurait-ol fallu une personne, un animal pour se faire une idée.

I like the diagonal axis & contrast between land & sea. It also has a superb warm cold opposition betweeen the yellow magenta tinged earth, & the cyan sea. Good work!

Pessoalmente e dentro dos "Landscapes" que são normalmente boas capturas e posititivamente criticadas pela tua forma de apanhar o momento, esta tem um grande complemento grafico. Não vou comentar mais do que foi dito, mas seguramente vai para as minhas favotitas. Natureza, grafismo e grande vista, com sensibilidade da arte, o que eu admiro.

Me encantan los diferentes colores del mar, las diferentes tonalidades, sobre todo el contraste de la blanca espuma con el azul claro. La captaste muy bien, desde un buen angulo.

Le bouillonnement de l'océan donne un très bel effet sur cet composition; il ne manque plus que le son pour écouter le bruit du ressac sur les rochers.

Bom dia Fernando,
Tenho tido uns dias de trabalho complicados e só agora é que consegui voltar ao TE.

Descobri esta imagem que tem tudo a ver com o seu último post (que está a andar muito bem...), apesar de não estar lá referenciado. Esta composição muito bem equilibrada nos vários elementos apresentados, é muito bonita e o grafismo das rochas em contraste com a espuma e mar, resultam numa imagem artística de forte impacto visual. Mais uma vez, a cor do mar é muito atractiva e gosto especialmente da 2ª imagem em ws, com uma profundidade e um jogo com a folhagem desfocada e a encosta verdejante à esquerda que é espectacular.
