Had to laugh! What memories of home this will bring - it being a Florida thing too. Just needed a little more sunlight in there, for more green. Nice to see you in the jar too. :o) Thanks for posting this.

I've heard about Calico Rock.
Amazing stuff Jalapeno jelly (that's jam I guess..) what do you do with it, spread in bread, or use as a sauce on the side..
Obviously you're keeping this one as a souvenior right?

I like the composition with the backlighting through the jar, it really brings out the greeen. The lack of lighting as produced a nice graduation from dark green to light green, i like it.
What about the bloke in the jar, the one with his arm poking out over the label, are you going to let him out? Seems like he's itching to take some photographs.. : )

Okay, I'm from Mississippi and I've not even heard of something as random as this. That's great, but I think I will leave it to other people to actually eat.

Yum. A little local flavor adds to this still-life composition, as does the wonderful green color.

I like what you do with ordinary things, you're very creative. I can't relate to the pepper jelly culture, but sunlight through a window, through the pepper jelly jar - yes. Gorgeous. And I enjoyed your upside down coffee mug with the TrekEarth reflection in it. I can relate to that completely.
