...beautiful. I would like to think it that way. I wish it is for her.

This woman has simple pleasures. She walked aimlessly in the busy Kathmandu Durbar. She always had that smile on her face. I gave her a chocolate bar, she didn't leave in front of me. I gave her some ballpens...she walked away contentedly.

I wish I have such a simple existence. But I guess not. I just got my D200 yesterday. Guess life will be ven more complicated.

Pretty amazing, Manny! The portrait is luminous with a shiny, coppery quality to it. Her smile is out of this world...

The lines in her face have a lot of stories to tell, I'm sure! And despite her poverty, they don't look like frown lines--she's evidently done a lot more smiling. an incredible photo and portrait with beautiful dark colors! how do you manage those colors? so you will be competing with Zepi on the D200... I am not going to buy it, too expensive for me right now...;-(

As I noticed before your portraits are among the best on this site.The tones, sharpness, expressions, light effects and DOF are absolutely astonishing!

It would be very appriciated if you could tell me the secret how do you get to this level of details and smoothness? is it really all the lens? photoshop actions or plugings?

What an interesting, beautiful face. Each wrinkle is so wonderful in the composition. Her eyes seem to pierce out from the bronze skin and keep your focus. Great work.
