Photographer's Note
This is a small typical village in MALAWI, Africa. I have taken this photograph from helicoter.
Scan of paper photograph.Description: The small hut in the center is a pigeon-house. To its right with a small scale is a store house for maize. On the biggest tree at RH, rolls of elephant grass ready to use for the hut in construction (completely at RH). On ground the maize is drying . LH:,wall of bricks without roof are toilets.
Bottom center is a water pump with buckets.
Bottom Rh, is a park for goats at night.
I have to say: it's not a printing card, it's a personal picture taken with my camera and film 24x36. And scan with my computor.

Good photodocumetary shot. I like how it hows the different sizes of structures, as well as the partial structure on the left. The women at the well at the bottom of the image add scale and human interest.

Wonderful slice of life of Malawi and your notes are also very informative. Bird's eye view is also unusual. I am sure a helicopter is unusual in this place and you've caught the reaction of the villagers quite well, some pointing to the helicopter. A good snap shot of a cultural shock, if you will.
