Photographer's Note
This is a close up of the boat heading to N. Manitou Island taken from the ferry to S. Manitou Island. Boath boats take off from the fishing village of Leland and is run by Manitou Island Transit. Both islands are part of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Visitors can take a day trip to the South Island, or camp overnight on both. I've posted images of the South Island on my site, so stop by if interested.
