Great detail and symmetry in this image. Lots of sharpness and information. It's very tactile, as if you can brush your hand across the photo and have the tops of the wheat stalks tickle the palm. Pretty cool to come away with a highly graphic image of an analog subject. Photograph certainly stands on its own. That said, it's got lots of potential as an environment for something with some human interest as well.

Hello Lisa, I totally agree with eugene..
this is a great shot with a strong and perfect simmetry..and the sense of vastity is amazing..details are so perfect that I can smell the fresh air and touch with my hands the wheat...stunning fields of gold!!
You achieved a great result here..

Lovely simple summer colours. I'm sure I've seen that field. The slight incline gives a bonus to the perspective and the DOF has come out really well for that aperture. Thanks.

It reminds me on Pink Floyd (Hipgnosis) covers. I think it would be better on medium format 6X6.

Hi Lisa,
Great minimalistic view! The 2 lines in the field catch the eyes and bring them towards the little clouds. Excellent light and sharpness.

Lisa,

This is a fantastic shot with great depth of field. I like the lines in the wheat leading you into the picture. The detail in the wheat is good and the clarity just great. I like the POV a lot and as it stands is just a really good photo. Perhaps, by way of slight improvement (perhaps - I'm not sure until it is tried?!!) lower the horizon when taking the photo by reducing the amount of field and increasing the amount of sky.

Just thoughts and this is certaily a cracking photo as it is.
