elafonissos

The island was re-populated by its current residents in 1850, afterwards his final annexation to Greece after A Greek-British minor conflict but also the final end to the piracy in the Aegean by the Hellenic Navy. The initial inhabitants came from the surrounding villages of Vatika area. The Hellenic Kingdom exploited the omition of Elafonissos and another Island called Sapienza from the treaty of sovereignty of the "Ionian Republic" in which both islands where part of.

Wonderful shot Ilias .. the sky is fantastic and the bottle makes it for me .. I do feel the dark frame spoils the image as it seems to dominate and takes interest away from your subject

If you add a little dark effect to the inside of the frame i think it will inforce a little more the effect. This is a good photo nice colors, a good job all around congratulations.

Etonnante cette bouteille plantée dans le sable...tout est beau même si j'aurais cardré legerement plus bas.

Very nice colours here. The sea looks gorgeous, the background hills are great, and the sky is very interesting. A definite postcard. I think I would have placed the bottle a bit more to the bottom right of the frame, as it seems a bit lost there. But that's just me.

La lumière et les couleurs sont vraiment exceptionnelles. Quel bel endroit! Par contre,je ne suis pas très fan de la présence de cette bouteille et le cadrage avec l'horizon au milieu de l'image peut se discuter. Celà reste cependant une bien belle photo!

Beautiful landscape with superb exposure and colours. Also I love this vertical composition, the sea, the clouds and that bottel sunk in the sand of the beach.

Πολύ καλή σύνθεση με υπέροχα χρώματα. Με μία λέξη ένα "όνειρο". Ο συνδυασμός της φανταστικής θάλασσας με τον βαρύ μα συνάμα πανέμορφο ουρανό που σκεπάζει την γη και εκείνο το μπουκάλι ... μας μεταφέρει μία αίσθηση νοσταλγικής ερημιάς.
Ερώτηση: Τα 52mm του φίλτρου είναι σωστά;

That seems like a little paradise indeed, gosh, beautiful cyan and light blue tones. The bottle of wine (or whatever was in there) is a very nice detail..it creates good mood. Someone celebrated there last night?! Good POV along the shore of the beach, strong depth in the photo, I like that. Well saturated colours and fine contrast, the polarizer helped well here. Good compo and fine contrast. Threatening sky in the distance, enhances the mood, captured in full glory.
I like the font you've used in the frame, but I feel the same as mickyg, dark frame.. I think a white one with the same front and black letters would do better for this photo.
But I'll give you my 2 pnts.

ο τίτλος θα ήταν δικαιολογημένος ακόμα και χωρίς αυτό, το μπουκάλι όμως είναι τελικά το στοιχείο που 'γεμίζει' την φωτογραφία - και τον παράδεισο γενικότερα ;)

Γεια σου Ηλια.Πραγματικος παραδεισος αποτυπωμενος με μαεστρια απο ενα εξαιρετικο σημειο ληψης δημιουργωντας μια συνθεση ονειρο.Το βαθος πεδιου ο δραματικος ουρανος και η ατελειωτη παραλια με την κρυσταλλινη θαλασσα υπογραφουν την απιστευτη ποικιλομορφια που εχει ο ευλογημενος τοπος που λεγεται Ελλαδα.
