Photographer's Note

Today, this photo has been posted by Polonaise, so as I have a similar one, I´ve decided to post it. What is it written? "Recien casados" which in english means "Just married". As probably many of you knows, samesex marriages are legal in Spain since 2004, reaching a level of freedom concerning gay right that has no precedent in this country... Well, I´m writtig to much. You are right George:

Actually, I find this unusual (crooked) angle quite interesting,
Miguel, as it seems as if it levels two heads - something
like leveling and making equal rights of both hetero and homo people, if you know what I mean.
There's no other people to be seen in your photo, to read
reaction from their faces though, but there's a huge
'recien casados' instead, which is equally good and strong
statement!

This one is more pleasant than the one George posted before ;)...Generally it's a great photo, I like how you captured it - the kiss and the "recien casados" sign. But I think there's no need to point out that much that homo thing - ok they're free, just like hetero people, end of story. But the difference is still very present just because of insisting that they are the same that much. I don't mind if someone's gay but I think that the majority still doesn't feel like that. At least in my country, it's still not that acceptable. There's no way you can see gay couple in the street. But I hope people will become more tolerant so that everyone can enjoy their affinity. And be free.

That sign in there says it all, Miguel...

It ads dynamics... It's pointy... IT MUST be there, otherwise the photo would become nothing more than a curiosity ( at least for some !)...
The whole issue raises the question: What actually IS the sacred union of marriage ?
What is the purpose of it...?
Why straights want to dismantle ( or at least seriously modify ) the whole marriage affair, and the homos want to make it as much important for their life as ever ???

The world is turning upside down with every turn and I like this carousel terribly !!!

El "tilt" te sigue funcionando. Aquí la verdad es que resulta interesante ver casi exclusivamente a los recién casados besándose con pasión, aislados de todos aunque mostrándose a todos... eso lo refleja muy bien la composición que tiene por eso todo su sentido. ¡Que sean felices...! yesterday i saw a docummentary on brazilian tv showing different family bonds. they also showed a girl with two male names in her ID thus i must say there is something going on as far as human rights are concerned.
i love the image, i really do, but as for marriage...

Esta foto es preciosa. Me encanta la composicion. Decision muy acertada de incluir el 'recien casados' pues creo que sin el, la foto no seria la misma.

This is a magistral kiss, a passionate one, a private affair but also an important statement.

buen viaje a la India ...ya no soporto TE , cada vez que veo la galeria de barrufeto 77 (entre otros ) me entra algo raro en el estomago (no son mariposas del amor). Odio el mal gusto , lo CUTRE y ya esta ...Se piraron algunos freakies maleducados (jinjus , un planidero portugues mas feo que pegar a un padre y pelota del adam mandamas , otros 4 mas prohombres que parecian estar por septima vez y media de vuelta en este mundo y bajaron de la montana en trekking con zaratustra para reconducirnos ) pero la calidad baja , el peloterismo sube , la critica facil , liquida e insustancial cotiza de pm y ningun gobierno acude al rescate...

Al menos siempre fuiste coherente , abierto , amistoso , sensible y tus fotos , historias y vivencias revelan cosas muy interesantes .Hay autenticidad y calidez en tus fotos...Te ves bien por la tv aunque el cine actual es una autentica mierda y tengas que hablar de las exquisiteces de los guiones que informas o escribas

Hasta siempre , por un notario meleducado que se enciende rapido , racista ,prejuicioso,izquierdista, contradictorio,igneo o incendiario ...y muy maleducado
