Burg Eltz, a photo from Rheinland-Pfalz, West

Photographer's Note

Burg Eltz is a fairytale castle with many stacked and interlocking gables and oriels,roofs and miniature towers,
sits in splendour atop a rocky cliff in the Eltzbach valley above the Moselle river between Koblenz and Trier.
It took more than 500 years to build and is still completely intact.
About 100 members of the owners'families lived in the over 100 rooms of the castle.
It is still owned by a branch of the same family that lived there in the 12th century,33 generations ago.

This is an amazing castle and you have presented it well. The vertical format is perfect here giving the scene nice depth and height. The path and bridge lead the eye into the scene nicely creating a nice sense of direction. The castle is nicely framed by the trees causing it to stand out against the green backdrop. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF.

Πολύ ωραίο κάστρο και συμπαγής κατασκευή! Είδα και το WS που είναι πραγματικά χρήσιμο.
Το κάθετο κάδρο ήταν αναγκαίο για να καλύψει το πανύψηλο κάστρο. Το σημείο λήψης μας οδηγεί κατευθείαν στην είσοδό του! Όμορφα χρώματα και καθαρές λεπτομέρειες.

von allen Burg-Eltz-Fotos hast Du bisher das beste hochgeladen. Von dieser tollen Burg gab es sogar mal eine Briefmarke, keine Sondermarke sondern ein ganz gewöhnlicher Wert, sehr häufig gebraucht und deshalb sehr verbreitet.
