Intro: After many years as a snap happy father I have started to take this hobby seriously. Because I have been seriously ill I found I had plenty time on my hands and so to help aid my recovery and get the exercise I needed started taking my camera when walking the rest they say is history.

I live in a beautiful part of Scotland which is steeped in history. The town of Selkirk where I reside is very close to the Rivers Yarrow and Ettrick. The Ettrick runs by the lower part of the town and was used to generate power to the Tweed Mills that used to be there, sadly they have all gone now.
