Intro: I always enjoyed taking pictures.

That must be because I received a reflex from my father when I was still quite young.

The mecanic and exposure system of that camera (a Praktika) was quite simple, the optic wasn't exceptional but everything had to be manually tuned (aperture, speed, focus, flash power).

Later on, I moved to the Minolta Dynax 7xi, which is quite sophisticated in terms of electronic but very ergonomic (including for changing on the fly the camera's recommandations for exposure).

When I moved to digital photography, I choosed another approach: a camera that could "fit in the pocket".

Nowadays, most of the pictures I am taking have at least one of my three children on it. But you'll of course only see on TrekEarth pictures without my family members.
