Workshop Note
I liked the look of this photo immediately, but I thought the colors looked a little washed out. I used a process called contrast masking, which I found at http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/contrast_masking.shtml . I also applied an UnSharp Mask filter (70%, 1.1 pixel radius), and I rotated slightly to adjust the tilt to the horizon. I think there is more to see this way. Please note that I did a very quick alter job on this, using fairly standard ratios for the sharpening and gaussian blur, I am sure with more fine tuning, the photo would look even better. Just my thoughts on this.
