Workshop Note
I love your picture Dennis. The warm tones and complementary colours create a relaxed feel and yet the perspective adds dynamism.
I too have a 2800Z so I know that you were limited in choosing to expose either for the deck or the sky. Just for the record, I think you got it spot on!
I filled in the small burned-out area by selecting colour from the top part of the sky with the Pipette and then used a 110 pixel brush at 10% opacity to paint over the white area. I do however quite like the slightly pink tinge of your original.
I painted out the metalwork in the top-left with a paintbrush at 100% and the Clone Stamp Tool at 20%.
Finally I straightened the shot using Image, Rotate, Free Rotate Layer and then cropped it by selecting the area using the Rectangular Marquee Tool and then Image, Crop. I know it loses most of the foreground perspective but it does accentuate the dynamic through the Rule of Thirds.
Well done for a cracking shot. More of the same please!
